Youth Kempo-Karate: This martial art is a non-sport entry into our program. Students will learn kata, wrist locks, throws, and both hard and soft fist techniques. This class helps improve focus, awareness, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and self-defense. Students will also develop manners, positive attitudes, respect, integrity, and perseverance. This class is for ages 7-15
Youth Beg/Int Hip Hop: This class is designed for children ages 5-12. We combine beginner and intermediate hip-hop techniques to allow growth throughout the class. Children learn at different levels, so having a mixed class benefits both levels. All students will have the opportunity to compete in competitions or perform at our family events.
Advanced (Teen) Hip Hop: This class is designed for ages 13 and up. Students will learn techniques from various styles of hip-hop. It’s important to be well-rounded when dancing to hip-hop music. Students are required to practice and work out on their days off. All students will have the opportunity to compete or perform at our family events.

Q: What is the drop in rate?
If this is your first time at EFC your first class is FREE. Our drop in rate is $15 a class. Stop by the front desk to ask about our 10 pack class package.
Q: What is the difference between the basic classes and master classes?
Master classes are specialty classes in which learning objectives are achieved through in-depth practice accompanied by detailed instruction. These classes are highlighted in blue on our Group Fitness Schedule.
Q: How do I sign up for class:
You can sign up for classes using the MemberMe+ app or by stopping by the front desk ahead of time.
Q: What should I do the first time I go to a new class?
As tempting as it is to slink into the back row this is the last place you should go as you will not be able to see or hear well from there. Position yourself near the front and always introduce yourself. Make sure you tell your instructor if you have any medical conditions or injuries before the class begins.
Q: I’ve got two left feet, do I need to be co-ordinated?
Many classes like pump, spin, circuits etc require no co-ordination at all. Some of the more dance inspired classes and step classes (which are set to music) will have an element of rhythm to them, but to be honest, nobody cares if you are out a beat or two. Just relax and enjoy the music.
Q: What should I bring to class?
All you will need is a water bottle. If you use an asthma inhaler, please carry that with you. If you would like to use your own equipment during class you are more than welcome but EFC will provide all necessary equipment!

The initial Golf Fitness Assessment is specifically designed to assess swing characteristics that maybe preventing you from an efficient swing. This can possibly lead to pain, followed by time away from the game. If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, it will assess any physical limitations that would affect your swing and game.
Our Titleist Performance Institute certified personal trainer Kyle will examine your proficiency using 16 physical screens, you will be evaluated for flexibility, balance, rotation, and mobility. With these specific assessments, Kyle will correlate this information with your swing to create a more efficient swing. Kyle will also identify any muscle imbalances and incorrect swing patterns. The goal is to undo any physical limitations first, then build power and strength.
